AREAS COVERED

THE AREAS I COVER

I cover the following areas: Halifax, Brighouse, Queensbury, Denholme and Cullingworth. These towns also include any surrounding villages. I have a full diary, teaching from Monday to Friday and having the ability to get to and from pupils is important. I try to plan and arrange the lessons I give appropriately so they are in close proximity to each other. For instance, I may have 3 pupils one morning in Brighouse and then 3 in the afternoon in Halifax. It makes the business run more effectively and economically, plus I can fit more pupils into my diary.

When I first moved back to West Yorkshire I covered Keighley too. This helped me to redevelop my business in a new area after living near to York. I covered a much larger area to bring the business in. However this would not be practical now as my diary is always full. I would have been spending more time travelling in between lessons rather than giving them. I found that the majority of my pupils lived in and around in Halifax and Brighouse. There came a time to decide that I should focus on these areas rather than a larger one, maximising my time to it’s best potential and fitting in more pupils due to less travelling time.
